4.4 Idiomania

Do you understand my title's meaning? maybe you can't because it is coinage which means a word that has been invented recently. So you won't find such a work on dictionalies. It consists of two words. Idiom and Mania. The meaning of Idiomania is to have an enthusiasm for idiom. I'm enthusiastic about studying English idiom because sometime the process or origin that an idiom was made is fun. Following is some funny examples.
"An arm and a leg" means expensive. It is from a situation of war. Soldiers sometimes lose their arm or leg at war.
"brown-nose" means to treat sb in authority with special respect. The origin of brown-nose is difficult to explain. so please look up it by yourself.
If you know a funny idiom, please let me know.
